Sarah Mark

Sarah’s mom, Minh Mark who is also a yoga teacher introduced her to yoga at a very young age. At the age of four she began private lessons with Kali Ray. In high school she assisted teaching children’s yoga at Tri Yoga in Santa Cruz, CA. Since 2012 she has been the creator/owner of the instructional CopyCat Yoga mat.

After she became a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance she began teaching yoga for Never Summer Industries Snowboards whom she is a team rider for.

The studio is one of the few places you will find her indoors. She typically is outside snowboarding, playing tennis, horseback riding, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, gardening, etc.

Yoga continues to aid in the recovery of her various snowboard injuries. Over the years she has broken her humerus in half, fibula, rib, thumb, and lacerated her spleen/liver. She has a lot of personal practice at rehabbing injuries with yoga.

Yoga has benefited her far beyond healing injuries of the physical body; also cultivating awareness, calm mind, compassionate heart, and has strengthened the connection with her higher self.
